Buttermilk
In 2006 Aspen Skiing Company and ESPN announced the Winter X Games will return to Aspen/Snowmass through 2010. Totaling nine consecutive years, this announcement marks the first time a city has hosted an X Games event (summer or winter) for more than two consecutive years.
Buttermilk welcomes beginners with 435 acres of wide rolling trails.
The existing West Buttermilk chair was recently replaced and now has a midway load station, allowing beginners and young children to do laps on the gentle trails of West Buttermilk.
